Hi there — we’re Chris and Matt, two long-time friends who spent over a decade working side by side in the world of corporate coffee. In 2024, we decided it was time to pour our passion into something of our own. That’s how Milne & Byrne was born — a cosy, independent café nestled just beneath the Campsie Hills in the charming village of Blanefield.

Located just a stone’s throw from the iconic West Highland Way, our little spot is the perfect place to pause, refuel, and soak in the stunning scenery that surrounds us or take a stroll around the wonderful views. Whether you’re a local, a walker, or just passing through, you’ll always find a warm welcome here.

Open seven days a week, Milne & Byrne is all about good vibes, great coffee, and delicious, homemade food. Our space is pet-friendly and full of character — a place where you can truly relax and feel at home.
